II.1.4) Description succincte: Sula and lesund municipalities have decided to continue with detailed engineering design of the joint treatment plant at Kvasnes in Sula Municipality. A preliminary project has been prepared which includes a treatment plant in rock, exposed day facilities with offices and changing rooms, as well as transmission lines with the associated installations from respectively Sula and lesund municipalities. lesund Municipality will now engage a consultant to be in charge of detailed engineering design of the new treatment plant and associated transmission lines, as well as to contribute to follow-up during construction. The preliminary project has calculated the combined costs for the project to be NOK 1. 1 billion, and it is critical that the contracting authority gets the project carried out by a professionally solid consultant with experience from equivalent projects. Good collaboration abilities, as well as the will and ability to maintain close dialogue between the parties throughout the entire project will be given weight in selection of the consultant.
